I’ve got a half a pack of half smoked cigarettes
And half a mind to give them to you
Because I haven’t had the time to say my goodbyes
So I’ll try to in a minute or two
I’ll try to find the line where I finally find out I’m fine without you
You’re not so easy to forget about
I’ve been driving back and forth from here to west Saint Pete
Passing your car every time
I guess I’ll try to find a place where I won’t see your face
And you won’t have to see mine
I’ll write another song where I won’t say your name just liked you asked me
You’re not so easy to forget about
I threw away your sunglasses
To you it must have been collateral damage
For me it was my final farewell
I’ll never see you again till I see you in hell

Party Hardly

Well, you know I’d like to hang
But I guess we’re just not on the same page
Cause we have two different definitions of
The better way to spent the latter half of our free days
I hear your verbal tip toes
And I feel the distance growing as the conversation slows
And I don’t get invitations to your Tuesday evening parties
Cause you know I don’t party straight up my nose
Well, you can drop that fake veneer
With all your half hearted bullshit
I’ve had it up to here
Cause I’m having a hard time seeing through all the smoke and mirrors

There are these minor inconveniences
With no real impact on my life
But they hit me like a freight train
That’s my I’m crying all the time
I guess I get sad sometimes
No matter who’s there around me
I start wondering who’s gonna speak at my funeral cause they’re the one who found me
There is no ration or reason to explain why I’m leaving
Yeah, I know it’s nothing
But I’m having trouble breathing
So I’m hiding in the bathroom
I’ll try to be out real soon
There’s no time for these outbursts
There’s no time for anything at all
But I need a dedicated hour just to sit in a cold shower
And stare at the bathroom wall
I’ll try to be more productive
And spend more time outside
And maybe ride my bike
Rather than creeping on your Instagram
To see who’s been holding your hand
And who took my place in your life
I didn’t say a word to you
But I guess I’m guilty by association
So here’s your thirteen dollars back
I hope it gets you to your destination
I’ll try not to stutter and catch my breath
And I’ll try to keep your name off of my lips
You can keep all your fair weather friends
I hope I never see you again
